The sled will fire and run cold but once up to acceptable temps if you give it gas it will fall on its face. But, you can bypass it easily. Once the plunger is out clean the OD of the plunger well, spray with carb cleaner and using the screw run it in and out of the choke bore to clean out any gunk. Been a while.
